[Kirsteen MacDonald – Weather presenter] Good evening everyone. Well it was certainly hot today in most areas of Scotland, reaching over twenty seven degrees Celsius in Strath Allan in Perthshire and a lot of areas not far behind that either.
[Kirsteen MacDonald – Weather presenter] Tonight it will stay dry for the most part, cloudy in areas in the North with chances of drizzle also. There will be bright spells around the Central and Southern areas of the country. Generally speaking it will be between ten and thirteen Celsius tonight therefore it shouldn’t feel as humid as it has done the past few nights. Tonight we expect light winds from the North-West but they will be stronger through the Northern Isles.
[Kirsteen MacDonald – Weather presenter] A look ahead to tomorrow and the day will begin dry with sunny and bright spells through most areas in the Central and Southern regions but again expect it to be cloudy at times in the North.
[Kirsteen MacDonald – Weather presenter] A look now at tomorrow afternoon in more depth. We expect it to remain quite cloudy and cool through the Northern Isles. Similar story through the Western Isles, around fifteen or sixteen Celsius with perhaps some showers on the North West coast also. Again though, the further South the better it gets, expect bright and sunny spells but it won’t feel quite as warm as it has been recently, twenty one perhaps twenty two Celsius at the most.
[Kirsteen MacDonald – Weather presenter] Now a look ahead to late afternoon and not much is changing. There may be the odd shower again to the North, the weather quite cloudy in these areas, again most of the sun to be seen around the Central and Southern areas of the country.

Therefore we expect it to be dry to a certain extent, a little cloudy particularly around the North of the country with most of the sunshine to be found around the Central and Southern areas.
