[Adele] Halò! Is mise Adele. Tha mi air ais còmhla rim phàrantan. Tha sin air a bhith inntinneach… Cha robh mi ag iarraidh a bhith leam fhìn airson lockdown agus tha gàrradh aig mo phàrantan agus tha coin aca cuideachd. Say hello! Chan eil i a’ bruidhinn Gàidhlig. Seo an tè eile. Tha i an-còmhnaidh ag iarraidh am biadh agam.
[Adele] Nuair a chuala sinn gun robh lockdown gu bhith a' tachairt, rinn mise liost – Covid resolutions. Seo dhà no trì dhe na resolutions a th’ agam fhad 's a tha sinn ann an lockdown…
[Adele] Nis aon de na resolutions a bh’ agam air an liost ‘s e rudeigin non-fiction a leughadh. So tha mi air seo a leughadh mar-thà. Nuair a bha mi sgìth dhen leabhar sin, 's e seo na tha mi a' leughadh. Gu math èibhinn, Billy Connolly. 'S e na jokes as fhèarr aige so tha seo gu math èibhinn.
[Adele] Resolution a dhà: tha mise airson na splits a dhèanamh ann an trì sheachdainean. Chan eil mi comasach air na splits a dhèanamh, feumaidh mi sin ag ràdh, ach tha mi a’ feuchainn. Seo mise a' feuchainn ri na splits a dhèanamh… duilich. ‘S e seo na bhios mi a’ dèanamh a h-uile latha, madainn ’s oidhche, anns a’ ghàrradh. Resolution a trì: bidh mi a’ sgrìobhadh leabhar-latha a h-uile latha. Dìreach mu dheidhinn ciamar a tha mi a’ faireachdainn, dè tha a’ dol anns na naidheachdan, rudan pearsanta anns am beatha agam. Tha mi cinnteach nach bi cuimhne agam air a h-uile cùis a tha a’ dol an-dràst’ so bha mi airson rudeigin a sgrìobhadh airson a’ coimhead air ais air anns na bliadhnaichean ri tighinn oir ''s e àm gu math annasach 's gu math doirbh dhan a h-uile duine. Tha a h-uile latha diofaraichte.
[Adele] Hello! I’m Adele. I’m back with my parents. That’s been interesting… I didn’t want to be by myself for lockdown and my parents have a garden and they have dogs too. Say hello! She doesn’t speak Gàidhlig. Here’s the other one. She always wants my food. When we heard that there would be a lockdown, I made a list – Covid resolutions. Here’s two or three of my resolutions while we’re in lockdown.
[Adele] Now one of the resolutions that I had on the list was to read something non-fiction. So I’ve read this already. When I was tired of that book, this is was I read. Very funny, Billy Connolly. It’s his best jokes so this is very funny.
[Adele] Resolution two: I want to do the splits in three weeks. I’m not able to do the splits, I must admit, but I’m trying. Here’s me trying to do the splits… sorry. This is what I do every day, morning and night, in the garden.
[Adele] Resolution three: I write a diary every day. Just about how I’m feeling, what’s going on in the news, personal things in my life. I’m sure that I won’t remember everything that’s going on right now so I wanted to write something to look back on in the years to come because it’s a very strange and difficult time for everyone. Every day is different.
